YO! We are looking for a social media marketing intern for 1 day a week to help in our Brunswick East studio.

Gammin Threads is an Aboriginal owned label based in Naarm, created by Yorta Yorta & Taungurung, designer Tahnee Edwards. Embodying it’s creator’s love for language, typography and blak pride.   

Inspired by culture, community and cool aunties, Gammin threads is a streetwear brand, loved by First Nations communities and allies nationwide.

This role is only open to applicants who are living and working in Naarm/Melbourne.

Our ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will be fun, creative, and studying something design or digital marketing related. 

Some responsibilities may include:

• Creating relevant video & stills content for Gammin threads socials channels,that engages our community and gets people excited about Gammin.
• Generating behind-the-scenes content on photoshoots.
• Establish, build and maintain relationships with Gammin mob to work with,this can include artists, influencers, creatives, musicians, activists etc
• Researching ideas for campaign shoots,product still life, brand storytelling socials posts and video content
• Working with the Marketing lead as necessary

 

Specific requirements:

• Studying any design or digital marketing related course
• An ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Skilled in Canva & Capcut 
• Ability to shoot & edit iphone content
• Extremely organised and strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
