PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival Block Party Runway

On Saturday night Gammin Threads was part of the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival’s sold-out Block Party runway.
For this collection, I went hard on my ‘80s inspo—think Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan, Debbie Harry, Vivienne Westwood, Chrissy Amphlett, Poly Styrene… basically, any bad bitch who was unapologetically themselves.
Featuring textures like lace, mesh, and faux fur, clashed with loud animal prints, anarchist-style typography, and punk-fuelled messages of resistance—Sovereignty Never Ceded, Stolenwealth, Not My King. A reminder that fashion is always political.
This range won’t be going into production—it was a fun creative project, a chance to try something different and stress myself out as usual. But if you’ve got an upcoming event and wanna wear a piece, hit me up at tahnee@gamminthreads.com
Big lub to everyone who came through and supported!
